WINTER BONES // AN EXHIBITION INSPIRED BY HARRISON FARM
Things in life are always intertwined. We are the result of the complex soup of our experiences and what we decide to be. That being said, I love when things cross over together and end up making something amazing.
I spent the whole warm season up on Harrison Farm teaching Goat Yoga, and getting to know the incredible farmer Katherine Harrison, in addition to the farm itself. I have learned countless things on the farm that relate to the circle of life and how yoga plays into that. I've got more thoughts on Goat Yoga and how it has changed me, but one way is that it brought a wild art project my way.
I was lucky enough to meet Katherine through my friend Stephanie Lynn. Katherine had always wanted to see an exhibition done by artists using bones and artifacts from the farm. For the past few years, I've been on the team at Wild Goose Creative, first as a board member, and now as a curation committee member. I can't tell you how much I love WGC. It's where your wildest weirdest dreams come true.
THREE GOATS WILL BE AT THE OPENING. YES, MY FAVORITE GOATS. The opening is Saturday, November 4, 6-10PM. I hope to see you there. Click here for more information about the exhibition!
