Private sessions are about real, sustainable growth in the physical practice of yoga, so that you can take what you’ve learned into a home or group class setting.

Work with me on your time and schedule. Just like in-person privates, these are customized to your needs and goals, with real-time feedback and recommendations, depending on the size of the group.

We start from where you are.
Sessions include a conversation about your experience with yoga and suggestions to bring ease into your practice. Skillfully transition in and out of poses, knowing you’re respecting your body’s needs and desires.

Accelerate your goals.
Yoga sessions are time to address your specific desires and concerns. You may not know what those are yet, but we can find them together. These personalized sessions fast-track what you can learn in a studio class, as you get my undivided attention for the entirety of our practice. It’s not just what we work on in the room together, it’s how you grow from here.

Increase your competence.
Grow your vocabulary of movement and get to know yourself on a deeper level. Learn the mechanics of the Warrior (Virabhadrasana) poses, or work toward a challenging shape like Headstand (Sirsasana). Together, we’ll troubleshoot poses and develop alignment patterns that work for your body.

Learn anatomy and dive in deep.
My students and clients say they love the blend of the specific and the esoteric I offer. Each session is part anatomy and part alchemy. In terms of the physical practice, the session will encompass anatomical technique, with recommended choices for how you feel day-to-day. Sessions are a free-flowing conversation, with room to shift and change based on the energy you bring in.
